Official music video for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”. Finished watching it and I really like some of the editing tricks but all the product placements and incoherent music editing ruins it. Businesses and product placements on your work might help you get to where you want easier but you lose the essence of art in your work. Sorry but as a filmmaker, my take on Lady Gaga’s newest “masterpiece” of music video was unimpressive. I understood the vintage style though.

Ok, so this is pretty amazing. Remember my cousin’s (Angelica Negron) band, Balún (click here and here)? Well a local newspaper called “El Nuevo Dia” decided to make an article on them. Before they published it today, the writer of the article was actually following me on Twitter. She contacted me and told me they were planning on using the music video I made for Balún a while back for the article itself. Of course I was flattered and let them use it. The article is now online for all eyes to see (in spanish though). Being featured in a news webpage is definitely a great highlight for me. This is just the beginning.
